When we are discerning what God's will is, we should take into account our skills and constraints to fulfil the demanding requirements of consecrated life. For this purpose, it is good to count with the help of a priest and/or a consecrated person.
However, if God calls you to a consecrated life, be completely sure that He has provided you with the grace to overcome any difficulties you may have. Keep in mind that you shall not consecrate your life because you wish to but because He has called you to do so. If this is His plan for you He will give you all you need to success in such mission.
Do not be afraid. He knows you better than you do and He does not choose you for your aptitudes but because of an act of love towards you. He will give you the strength you need.
You are not the only one who is astonished of being chosen by God. Peter asked God to be away from him because he was a sinner. Even Virgin Mary was greatly troubled at the words of the Angel. You can triumph over fright with love and faith.
You are not alone; Jesus is with you to overcome each and every difficulty.
Do abandon yourself trustily into his hands.
